Ferrari Japan reached an official agreement with Yanase Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. for a certified body shop contract. Ferrari Japan is expanding certified body shops in Japan to reinforce the After Sales Network. Yanase Automotive Systems BP Center Misato has been officially appointed as Ferrari certified body shop following that of Kanagawa and Osaka areas’. *BP (Abbreviation for Body Repair & Paint Work).
Founded by Yanase Automotive Systems in April 2013 in Misato-city, Saitama, “BP Center Misato” is the latest and large scale sheet metal and paint work factory equipped with 34 work bays. It is located near Tokyo Gaikan Expressway and Metropolitan Expressway No.6, as well as “Misato IC East and West” exit of Joban Expressway which makes it a very convenient location from not only Kanto area, but also from Tohoku area. To meet Ferrari certified body shop requirements, Yanase Automotive Systems newly implemented CAR BENCH body repair station, PPG Envirobase for water base coatings, dedicated bay for aluminum body work. In addition, Yanase Automotive Systems obtained the Aluminum Welder Certificate IOS9606-2 which is a required license as a Ferrari certified mechanic at the training in Massa, Italy.
