If there is one vehicle on Earth that could look good with six wheels, it is most certainly the Flying Huntsman 110 WB 6x6 Concept, which will be on display at the Billing Land Rover show this week!
To drive that point home, Afzal Kahn and his team stretched the Volcanic Rock Satin Defender 110 by means of 400mm extension to the bonnet, and 800mm extension to the rear cabin, as well as being widened by 150mm.
Out back, the team added a third axle, and added a two front-wheel and four back-wheel configuration with 9" x 20" Volcanic Black Mondial wheel coupled with Cooper LTZ 275/55/20 tyres.
A heavy-duty chassis, upgraded suspension and braking, hi-lo ratio drive system and locking differentials ensure this six-wheeled Defender is more than just a show car, putting 430-hp of GM LS3 V8 to work on any terrain the driver points the vehicle towards. The V8 does that work in collaboration with a GM six-speed automatic gearbox and channels waste through an upgraded stainless steel exhaust system.
Beyond the added length and mechanical upgrades, the styling package includes a new front bumper, X-Lander grille and plenty of Kahn badging, giving it an aggressive, land-hungry look to match its stretched, six-wheeled figure.
Inside the driver will find Red Leather Sports seats adorned with 100% wool Abraham Moon Skye Almandine inserts along with a quilted and perforated centre glove box, Churchill time clock fascia insert and a single spoke steering wheel.
If you want to view this vehicle, be sure to turn up at the Billing Land Rover show which begins on the Friday the 31st of July at the Billing Aquadrome in Northampton and ends on Sunday the 2nd of August.
