Kahn Design Chelsea Truck Company Land Rover Defender 90 \"The End\" Edition

Chelsea Truck Company Land Rover Defender 90 \"The End\" Edition

2016 was a significant year for the Chelsea Truck Company, as the last Defender rolled out of the Land Rover factory in January, signalling the end of 67 years of production for the iconic 4x4.

To celebrate the history of this legendary vehicle, the Chelsea Truck Company has developed a special edition De fender dubbed \"The End\" Edition.

This specially commissioned prototype is now ready for production and will make its international debut in Geneva.

Having acquired a significant number of the last new Defenders manufactured in 2016, the Chelsea Truck Company is offering the \"End Edition\" Defender in a limited series of 50 vehicles. Half will be built on the Defender 90 variant with the remainder based on the longer wheelbase 110 model.

This particular French Racing Blue example features the Chelsea Truck Company’s
signature exterior styling package, which includes front and rear wide wheel arches with integrated vents and bolt apertures, LED diamond bright headlights, privacy tinted glass, front bumper replacement, front bumper sump guard in aluminium along with an X Lander front grille.

A Satin Black roof, removable front sunroof, privacy tinted glass and Chelsea Company Spare wheel cover and End Edition branding completes the transformation.

Inside, the front sports (heated) GTB and rear folding seats are adorned with Lime and Acru Abraham Moon’s (100% lamb’s wool) Boutique Fabric.

In addition, Black Leather passenger dashboard top and grab handles, centre glove box, door cards, instrument binnacle, rear door panels and knee protectors, aluminium roof grab handles, billet and leather steering wheel exude nonchalance.

\"The ‘End Edition’ Defender was originally a one - off commission which I was invited to design for the 2016 London Motor Show, relaunched under the patronage of HRH prince Michael of Kent. With the Defender facing the end of production, I was keen to celebrate this iconic vehicle’s legacy with a limited series of these exceptional examples. It’s a pleasure to be able to launch the production model at the Geneva
Motor Show,\" said Afzal Kahn.

Aimed at collectors and enthusiasts alike, the \"End Edition\" series comprises the highest specification Defenders produced in the Chelsea Truck Company’s history.

This is well illustrated by the 20 percent uplift in residual value for these vehicles, as assessed by UK independent trade specialists CAP.

The Chelsea Truck Company French Racing Blue Land Rover Defender 90 \"The End\\\" Edition will be on display at the Geneva Motor Show, Stand 6338.
