Renault India rolls-out ‘Passion on Wheels’ initiative nationwide





Ø  Designed as a fully functional mobile showroom along with several customer engagement activities, it offers complete Renault experience to the customers especially in the tier II and tier III markets

Ø  A three-month long initiative, ‘Passion on wheels’ will cover around 300 markets across India

New Delhi, May 22, 2017: Renault India, one of the fastest growing automotive brands in India, announced the commencement of an innovative nationwide customer-focused initiative, ‘Passion on Wheels’. It is a fully functional mobile showroom designed to provide complete Renault experience to the customers especially in the tier II and tier III markets across India, where the emergence of a progressive and discerning set of customers are significantly showing interest in the Renault brand.

Commenting on the new initiative, Mr. Rafael Treguer, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Renault India said, "Over the last few years we have exponentially grown our presence in terms of sales and network in a short span of time. Driven by innovation which has always been Renault’s hallmark, the ‘Passion on Wheels’ is yet another significant step to move closer to the customers in the remote areas and provide a Renault vehicle ownership experience. This mobile showroom will not only give customers an opportunity to experience the Renault brand but also test drive Renault vehicles and interact with experts on any product related queries. It is a clear testimony of our customer-centric approach and we will continue our efforts to bring in pioneering customer-oriented activities to further consolidate our footprint in India.”

Equipped with car on display, Renault ‘Passion on Wheels’ will take the brand to the doorstep of the customers. Besides displaying the complete Renault product range, several fun-filled activities will be organized for customers making it an exciting and cherishing experience. It will not only facilitate test drives of all Renault vehicles but will also act as a one-stop shop for enabling customers and prospects to connect with Renault for any product related enquiries or new bookings.

Renault ‘Passion on Wheels’ will be showcased to customers over one to two days in each targeted city in association with the Renault dealer partners. It is a three-month long initiative and Renault ‘Passion for Wheels’ will visit around 300 markets across India in the next 3 months. The ‘Passion for Wheels’ will take the brand to cities like Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra Telangana, Bihar, Odhisa, Chhattisgarh and Assam to name a few.


Renault India has carved a long term commitment to the Indian market. Together with its product portfolio expansion strategy to drive volumes in India, Renault is substantially increasing its sales and network reach in India and introducing several unique and pioneering initiatives to ensure that customers’ have an unparalleled association with the Renault brand. Currently, Renault India has more than 270 sales outlets in the Indian market. By end of this year, Renault India will aggressively expand its dealer network by increasing the number of sales outlets to 320 across India.
